The YDBLE holds itself as an organization and its volunteers to a professional and industry standard. Below are a list of required training classes and certifications each individual must obtain before going on a YDBLE deployment. Once completing a class, a volunteer must submit forth a copy of their certificate and proof of course completion to YDBLE in order to maintain record.

6. IS-700.B: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
7. IS-800.D: National Response Framework, An Introduction
8. NWCG S-190 Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior (2008) Online
Use this link to register for your FEMA SID. This will allow you to take the tests for all IS classes and gain a certificate with a passing score of 75% or above. For every FEMA IS class take the interactive web based course on the right of the page. Once you're done, just below the course link, click and take the final exam. Register with the NFA online with the link below. You will need your FEMA student ID. Department you can put our organization. Follow the steps. Once you are able to log in then go to the learning center on your homepage. Search for NWCG and it will give you five class options. NWCG S-190 Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior (2008) Online is the course you need to take.
